The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Sanhaula P.S. Case No. 80/2015, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 349, 323, 327, 307, 384, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner and other co-accused persons are alleged to have demanded extortion of Rs. 50,000/- and also assaulted the informant, his son and others.

It is submitted that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case and no specific allegation is made against him.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that there is allegation that the petitioner demanded extortion along with other

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.11499 of 2016 (4) dt.21-06-2016 2/2 co-accused persons, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. If the petitioner surrenders before the court below within four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order and pray for regular bail learned court below shall consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner taking into consideration that Bulta Singh, Fago Singh and Fultesh Yadav @ Pultesh Yadav have already been granted regular bail by this court as the case of petitioner stands on the same footing and dispose of the bail petition preferably on the same day.
