The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Revilganj P.S. Case No. 268 of 2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 363, 366(A), 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Vide order dated 22.03.2021, this Court had called

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7163 of 2021(3) dt.31-05-2021 2/3 for the case diary and had granted provisional bail to the petitioners.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that they are the parents and younger brother of one Saddam Hussain, who is said to have been stalking the daughter of the informant for a very long time. It has further been submitted that the victim on her return has stated that she was assaulted by her father and thereafter she had run away from her home. Apart from this, it has been submitted that the occurrence is said to have taken place on 29.07.2020 but the F.I.R. was lodged on 02.08.2020. The I.O. of the case, on reaching the house of the informant found the victim in her father's house only. She stated before the I.O. that she had gone to her aunt. Considering the afore-stated facts the petitioners were granted provisional bail.

On perusal of the records, this Court is inclined to confirm the provisional bail of the petitioners. The provisional bail granted to the petitioners is hereby confirmed.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7163 of 2021(3) dt.31-05-2021 3/3 The petitioners shall remain on the same bail bonds.
