Petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Ganga Bridge P.S. Case No.36 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 341, 323, 324, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the Prevention of Witch Practices Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in the present case. The petitioners have got no criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph-3 of the bail application. It is further submitted that the petitioners are in-laws of the informant and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50486 of 2022(2) dt.08-12-2022 2/2 no specific overt act is alleged against the petitioners. Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners.

Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, let petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (rupees twenty five thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Ganga Bridge P.S. Case No.36 of 2022, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
