2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Barun P.S. Case No. 277 of 2024 dated 22.06.2024 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. Mr. Sanjay Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a young person and he is 25 years old and as per the allegation, only 2.8 litres of country made liquor is said to have been recovered from a bag allegedly being kept on the seat between this petitioner and coaccused when they were riding on a motorcycle and the rest part of the recovered wine and beer is said to have been recovered from the house of this petitioner but the same was not recovered

Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner has been languishing in jail since 22.06.2024 and he is a student who is pursuing Bachelor of Arts and his educational career will be ruined if he is kept in custody for long.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the bail prayer.

Having considered the above submissions and mainly taking into account the petitioner's young age, his fair and clean antecedent and his academic career as stated above, this Court is inclined to release him on bail. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the concerned Court in connection with Barun P.S. Case No. 277 of 2024. (Shailendra Singh, J) annu/- U T
