JUSTICE NAWNEET KUMAR PANDEY ORAL ORDER 06-07-2022 Learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to remove all the defects pointed out by the Stamp Reporter within one month. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Addl.P.P. for the State.

The present application has been filed for modification of the order dated 20.02.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 86567 of 2019 by which the petitioner was granted provisional bail. It is submitted that due to lockdown on account of spread of Covid-19 pandemic, the petitioner could not surrender in the court below and furnish the bail bond within the stipulated time. For the reasons disclosed in the application, it is allowed and the time granted by order dated 20.02.2020, passed in Cr. Misc.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.61260 of 2021(3) dt.06-07-2022 2/2 No. 86567 of 2019 for surrender of the petitioner and furnishing bail bond is extended by four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, subject to deposit of Rs. 5,000/- to the District Legal Services Authority. At the time of surrender, the petitioner shall furnish the receipt showing deposit of Rs. 5,000/- to the District Legal Services Authority.

Office shall ensure that all defects are removed by the petitioner within the stipulated time provided in para-1 hereinabove, failing which the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court. (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) SONALI/- U T
