The grievance of the petitioner is that despite application having been filed in the month of April, 2015 for grant of arms licence, no decision has been taken as yet by the Licensing Authority.

Having regards to the facts and circumstance of this case, this writ application is being disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, Patna to take a final decision in the matter in accordance with law within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
