The petitioners, five in number, apprehend their arrest in a case registered under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The petitioners are father-in-law, mother-in-law and brothers-in-law of the complainant. There is omnibus and general allegation of demand of dowry.
Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioners, who are in-laws of the complainant, the above named petitioners, in the event of their
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7174 of 2015 (2) dt.20-02-2015 2/2 arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Nawada in Complaint Case No. 2066/2013, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
