The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence under Sections-147, 148, 149, 307 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was twice rejected vide Annexures-1 & 1A to the present application taking into account that the petitioner was one of the assailants. Considering the nature of accusation and pace of trial, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner in connection with Sessions Trial No. 116 of 2020 arising out of Sahajitpur P.S. Case No. 66 of 2019 is, again, rejected. Learned trial court is directed to take all necessary steps to conclude the trial at the earliest, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
