JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 28-03-2016 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 47(a) of the Excise Act. It is alleged that huge quantity of foreign liquor were recovered from the house of the petitioner.
It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the recovery has been made from the joint family house and the seizurelist was not served to any of the family members of the petitioner. There is nothing on record to suggest that the petitioner escaped from the scene. Statement has been made in paragraph 3 of the petition that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Let the learned court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner in case the petitioner surrenders within six weeks from today in connection with Agamkuan P.S. Case
