2. The present writ petition has been filed for quashing memo no. 458/R.ka dated 10.01.2002 issued by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna by which the petitioner has been dismissed with effect from 08.01.2002; and for connected reliefs.
3. At the very outset, this Court takes note that while the impugned order have been passed on 10.01.2002, the petitioner has approached this Court after considerable delay in the year 2010. That apart, the petitioner has stated in para 10 of the writ petition that an
Patna High Court CWJC No.20409 of 2010 dt.18-07-2017 2/2 appeal has been preferred against the dismissal before the superior authorities which is pending.
4. In the above circumstances, this Court is not inclined to interfere in the matter as the petitioner cannot be permitted to pursue parallel remedies.
5. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed with the observation that the petitioner will be at liberty to pursue the appeal said to have been filed by him.
