The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Phulwarisharif P.S. Case No. 214 of 2020 dated 22.03.2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 323, 307, 504, 506 and 337 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The petitioner is alleged to have injured the victim by assaulting him with butt of a pistol. Regard being had to the nature of accusation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6874 of 2021(2) dt.15-12-2021 2/2 rejected.

However, if the petitioner surrenders before the court below and seeks bail, the court below shall take into account the fact that some of the accused persons of this case have been granted anticipatory bail and that the informant is a police officer and shall pass orders in accordance with law without being prejudiced by the fact that the present petition on his behalf has not been entertained.
