The petitioner is an accused in connection with Budha Colony P.S. Case No.127 of 2021(G. R. No. 2824 of 2021) lodged under Sections 147, 148, 149, 324, 307, 323 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner who is brother-in-law of the informant is that as she was sleeping along with her husband he along with his family members entered into her house and started assaulting her husband. Further specific allegation is against Sidhant Kumar gave sickle blow on the head of the informant's husband causing injury to him.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that omnibus allegation of 'Marpit' has been levelled against the petitioner herein and is in judicial custody since 9.4.2021. Charge sheet has been submitted in the case.

No.60584 of 2021(2) dt.18-04-2022 2/2 Taking into account that omnibus allegation has been levelled against the petitioner and also the fact that he is in custody since April, 2021, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Budha Colony P.S. Case No.127 of 2021 to the satisfaction of Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate II, Patna. With the aforesaid observation, the bail application is allowed. (Rajiv Roy, J) s.hassan/- U T
