There is a dispute within the family members as to who should beget the benefit of compassionate appointment as would be evident from reading of Annexure-11 dated 7.3.2011, passed by the IG (Prison), Government of Bihar.

2. The only way such dispute can be set to rest is provided the so-called claimant or the legal heirs should obtain a succession certificate from the civil court of competent jurisdiction.

3. It goes without saying that if succession certificate is obtained by a legal heir then appropriate decision on the claim of such beneficiary would be required to be taken within a reasonable timeframe by the competent authority.
