This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Complaint Case No. 7032 (c) of 2021, in which cognizance has been taken under Sections 323/498-A of the Indian Penal Code.

At the very outset, learned Counsel for the petitioner as well as Opposite Party No. 2 submits that the matter has been compromised before the learned Mediator and both the parties have agreed to live separately on the terms and conditions mentioned in the report of the learned Mediator, dated

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50961 of 2023(3) dt.08-11-2023 2/2 31.10.2023.

Considering the fact that both the parties have amicably settled their disputes on the basis of the terms of settlement mutually agreed by the petitioner and the Opposite Party No. 2, I am inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of anticipatory bail.

This application is, accordingly, allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Patna, in connection with Complaint Case No. 7032 (c) of 2021.
