The petitioner in this case, who is a retired Police Sub Inspector, has made a grievance that he has not been paid his retrial benefits.
A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondents. In paragraph -5, of the said counter affidavit, it has been stated that the grievance raised by the petitioner has already been redressed. It has further been stated that the petitioner has already been paid Rupees One Lakh Fifty Eight Thousand Three Hundred Eighty Six (Rs.1,58,386) and Rupees Seventy One Thousand One Hundred Three (Rs. 71,103) towards arrears of sixth pay commission. His pensions has been fixed in the scale of
Patna High Court CWJC No.21440 of 2014 (3) dt.22-10-2016 2/2 9300-34800, Grade Pay Rs. 4600/-. It is further stated that the petitioner has also availed the benefit of second and third ACP. Counsel for the petitioner submits that respondents ought to have sanctioned the pension of the petitioner at the rate of Rs.10,215/- w.e.f 01.01.2013.
The respondent No. 2 would duly consider the letter dated 21st March 2016 of the office of the Accountant General addressed to the Treasury Officer, Ara.
With the aforesaid observation, this application is, accordingly, disposed of.
