The petitioner is languishing in custody in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 384, 385, 386, 379, 411, 420, 467, 471, 468, 120(B), 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged by the informant that informant is proprietor of a brick-klin and it is alleged that some unknown miscreants have demanded levy amount of Rs. 2 lakhs through mobile and also threatened of dire

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The informant has not given any amount as levy to anyone. The petitioner is not the registered owner of the mobile numbers through which levy was demanded. The petitioner is languishing in custody since 20.05.2023. In contra, learned A.P.P appearing on behalf of the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the period under custody, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousands) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Jehanabad in connection with Parasbigha P.S.
