In view of passage of time and in view of fact that the impugned election is already over, and, furthermore, the successful candidate has not been impleaded as party respondent, therefore, the present matter has not only become infructuous, rather no relief can be granted to the petitioner in the present writ petition.
The writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. However, if any other larger issue is involved, the petitioner shall be at liberty to raise that issue in an appropriate proceeding before an appropriate court/forum at an appropriate stage.
