2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 341, 323, 324, 325, 307, 379, 354 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution case, this petitioner is alleged to have assaulted on the head of elder brother of informant, namely Harendra Yadav, by means of Farsa.

4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. There is case and counter-case between the parties. Petitioner claims clean antecedents.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R. with specific

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56744 of 2024(2) dt.10-09-2024 2/2 accusation that he assaulted on head of Harendra Yadav. Doctor has found the injuries sustained by Harendra Yadav to be grievous in nature.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances and nature of injuries sustained by the injured, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) shashank/- U T
