JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 06-10-2015 The PDS licence of the petitioner has been cancelled by the licensing authority on the ground that his shop was closed at the relevant time of inspection on 26.4.2012.

The petitioner submits that his licence has remained cancelled for over 3 1⁄2 years.

In my view, the closure of the shop on a particular day would not constitute such a grave offence as to justify cancellation of a license.

In the result, this writ application is allowed and the impugned order of cancellation of petitioner's licence is set aside. (Samarendra Pratap Singh, J) KHAN/- U
