Learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to remove the defects, if any, within three weeks. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 363, 365, 366, 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. He submits that the statement of the victim has been recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. in which it has been stated that the petitioner took her to Punjab by falsely promising to reunite her with her husband and forcibly kept her with him for four months at that place. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected in connection with K. Nagar (Maranga) P.S. Case No. 344 of 2021.
