JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 17-04-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "(i)That the respondents may be directed to immediately make payment of maintenance to the petitioners after deducting 1/3rd amount of salary of the private respondent Ravindra Kumar Singh from the date of his appointment and ensure payment to the petitioners

Patna High Court CWJC No.7836 of 2017(2) dt.17-04-2023 2/2 each month regularly.

ii) That the respondents may further be directed that if the respondent Ravindra Kumar Singh refuses to make payment of maintenance to the petitioners then his appointment on compassionate ground may be cancelled"

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
