Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 341, 323, 447, 448, 354(B), 379, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of the POCSO Act, registered in connection with Balthar P.S.Case No. 91 of 2020.

As per allegation, three accused persons, including the petitioner, entered into the house of the informant when he was sleeping along with her 10-year-old daughter and son. They started teasing her daughter. She raised an alarm, whereupon accused nos. 5 to 7 came there and they badly assaulted them and co-accused Rishi Shah snatched Rs. 550/- from the pocket of the informant.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that, as a matter of fact, the petitioner and other accused persons were playing cricket and the cricket ball hit the informant's daughter. He has submitted further that co-accused Anuj Kumar @ Anuj Shah @ Anoj Kumar, on similar footing, has been

Considering the above facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks from the date of communication of this order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J. 7th, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Balthar P.S.Case No. 91 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr. P.C.

Office shall ensure that all defects are removed by the petitioner within the stipulated time as provided hereinabove, failing which the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court.
