1. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State.
2. Though the present petition is by way of second attempt at the behest of the petitioner for grant of regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial No.66 of 2023 arising out of Mashrakh P.S. Case No.57 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 307, 379, 325, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, but the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted, at the outset, that the trial Court be directed to conclude the trial expeditiously, nonetheless, the petitioner be granted liberty to renew his prayer for bail in case there is no substantial progress in the ongoing trial.

Having regard to the limited prayer, made by the petitioner, in the present case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the learned trial Court to expedite the trial and make endeavors to conclude the same, within a period of one year from today, however, in case there is no substantial progress in the ongoing trial, even after a lapse of one year from today, the petitioner shall be at liberty to renew his prayer for regular bail.
4. Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
