2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):

"(i) That an appropriate writ/s be issued to respondents to produce the list of settlee, in whose favour surplus land have been settled Under the provision of 27 of the Bihar Land Reforms

3/4 (Fixation of Ceiling Land) Act 1961 [hereinafter to be referred as Ceiling Act], which was declared surplus and acquired under ceiling case no. 81 of 1977-1978 of Kaimur District and after being produced, the same be quashed.

(ii) That an appropriate writ/s be also issued; directing the respondents to settle the respective land in question in favour of the respective petitioners, who has acquired the status of raiyat, as they are under raiyat and have been cultivating the land since 1968-69 on Batai.

(iii) That any other relief or reliefs be granted, as the petitioners found entitled in the fact and circumstances of the case."

3. After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioners submit that they shall be approaching the respondent no. 2, the Collector, Kaimur at Bhabhua for the redressal of the grievance.

4. Learned State counsel has no objection to it.

5. In that background, the writ petition stands disposed of allowing the petitioners to approach the respondent no. 2, the Collector, Kaimur at Bhabhua who shall be taking up

4/4 the matter and dispose it of at an earliest after hearing all the necessary parties.
