2. With the consent of the parties, the present writ application is being disposed of at this stage itself.

3. The petitioner along with her sister, Lalita Devi had come before this Court earlier vide CWJC No.21096 of 2021, for claiming the same relief. The said writ application was dismissed with liberty granted to the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedy as otherwise available under the law,

Patna High Court CWJC No.11992 of 2025(2) dt.19-08-2025 2/3 for redressal of her grievances. This order passed in earlier writ bearing CWJC No.21096 of 2021 has been brought on record by way of Annexure-P/5.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in light of the aforesaid order of this Court passed in CWJC No.21096 of 2021, the petitioner had filed a representation dated 19.06.20224 (Annexure-P/6) before the District Magistrate, Patna, which continues to be pending till today. Learned counsel, therefore, submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if an appropriate direction is issued by this Court, directing the District Magistrate, Patna to disposed of the pending representation of the petitioner on merit after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

5. The above prayer being made by learned counsel for the petitioner is not opposed by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents-State.

6. Considering the limited nature of prayer being made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ application is disposed of directing the District Magistrate, Patna to decide the pending representation of the petitioner dated 19.06.2024 (Annexure-P/6) on merit after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. The final order shall be

Patna High Court CWJC No.11992 of 2025(2) dt.19-08-2025 3/3 passed by the District Magistrate, Patna within six months from the date of production of a copy of this order. Needless to emphasize that the final order which shall be passed by the District Magistrate, Patna shall be a reasoned and speaking order.

7. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present writ application is disposed of. Pending I.As, if any will be deemed to have been disposed of.
