The petitioner is in custody in connection with Special (Excise) Case No. 249 of 2018 for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition of Liquor and Excise Amendment Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. He submits that the petitioner was apprehended only on suspicion nothing was recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner.
