This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Turkauliya P.S. Case No. 497 of 2013, disclosing offences under Sections 384, 341, 323, 379, 504, 34 and 387 of the Indian Penal Code.
A civil dispute between the petitioners and the informant appears to be the reason behind the occurrence, said to have taken place on 21.09.2013.
The allegation is that the accused persons assaulted the informant with fists and slaps and snatched a golden chain and

Considering the nature of dispute and accusation against the petitioners, this application is allowed. Let the petitioners, namely (1) Bikau Sahani and (2) Sipahi Sahani, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari at East Champaran, in connection with Turkauliya Police Station Case No. 497 of 2013, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
This is subject to the condition that the petitioners shall present themselves before the police/Court, as the case may be, as and when required and in the event of failure on their part to appear before the Court on two consecutive occasions, their bail bonds shall be liable to be cancelled.
