On 18.11.2014, the District Programme Officer (Establishment), Muzaffarpur has given a direction for recovery of excess payment in terms of salary given to the petitioner earlier. This is required to be recovered in 20 equal installments because the petitioner refused to comply with the earlier direction passed way back in the year 1997 itself to deposit the said amount with the treasury in 10 equal installments. There is nothing on record to show that the previous decision of taking away the benefit of Intermediate or B.A. trained scale was challenged or interfered with. The recovery is justified, so is the order of deduction in equal

Patna High Court CWJC No.3063 of 2015 dt.26-02-2015 2/2 installments. The petitioner's predicament is because of his own inaction or failure to carry out the previous direction.
