The petitioner is in custody in connection with Kurtha (Manikpur) P.S. Case No. 78 of 2018 for offences punishable under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. The liquor in question was seized from the road side and not from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 22.05.2018.

Considering the fact that the liquor was seized from the road side and not from the conscious possession of the petitioner and the petitioner has no criminal antecedent, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.33933 of 2018(2) dt.06-06-2018 2/2 bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-2, Jehanabad, in connection with Excise Case No. 512 of 2018 arising out of Kurtha (Manikpur) P.S. Case No. 78 of 2018.
