Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the issue raised in the present writ application is no more res integra. A bench of this court vide judgment dated 20.5.2016 in C.W.J.C. No. 3685 of 2016 has already decided the issue and as such this writ application may be disposed of in similar terms of C.W.J.C. 3685 of 2016 vide judgment dated 20.5.2016. Considering the fact that C.W.J.C. No. 36185 of 2016 was decided by a coordinate bench of this court there is no justification to take a different view in the present writ

Accordingly, this writ application is being disposed of with a direction to the Registrar of the University to consider the claim of the petitioner raised in this writ petition and take a decision in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. If the petitioner's claim finds favour of the Registrar then necessary payment should be made within a period of one month thereafter. If the petitioner's claim is not found tenable then a reasoned order would be required to be passed and communicated to the petitioner within the aforesaid period of two months.
