JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 29-04-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Paharpur P.S. Case No.06 of 2016, disclosing offences under Sections 413 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code.

On the basis of a tip-off, the police raided the house of one Pravin Kumar and recovered stolen Bolero vehicle. The petitioner is not named in the First

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14558 of 2016 (3) dt.29-04-2016 2/2 Information Report. His name surfaced in the confessional statement of said Pravin Kumar before the police, who disclosed that the petitioner had been actively participating in sale and purchase of stolen vehicles.

Considering the fact that there is material to show that the petitioner has been part of an organized crime, I am not inclined to grant him the privilege of anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, this application for grant of anticipatory bail is, hereby, rejected.

The petitioner, abovenamed, is directed to surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today and seek regular bail, if so advised. If he does so, his application for regular bail shall be considered by the learned court below on its own merit, without being prejudiced by rejection of present application for grant anticipatory bail.
