Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 307, 326, 304B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner had earlier moved before this Court seeking regular bail by filing Cr. Misc No. 32581 of 2024 and the same was rejected by an order dated 20-9-2024. It is next submitted that this is the second attempt of the petitioner to seek regular bail on the ground that he is in custody since 30-102023 and the trial has commenced and P.W. 1 has not supported

No.52259 of 2025(2) dt.01-08-2025 2/2 the case of the prosecution, on which learned APP submits that the regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by an order dated 20-9-2024 in Cr. Misc No. 32581 of 2024 after recording the order in detail, it is next submitted that since trial has commenced, as such no useful purpose would be served by releasing the petitioner on bail, when he is the husband; and the victim died within seven years of marriage.

Considering the submissions made by the learned APP, the Court is not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. 5.
Accordingly, the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner is rejected.
