This writ application has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner on permanent vacant post of Part Time Sweeper (PTS) as per advertisement issued by the bank dated 31.03.2018 for which petitioner appeared in the interview, but till date no appointment was done though two seats for OBC category is still kept vacant.

3. It is specifically contended by the learned counsel for petitioner that he appeared before respondent no. 2 for

Patna High Court CWJC No.12697 of 2023(2) dt.06-12-2023 2/2 interview and after verification of the certificates and attending the interview, seven persons were appointed under General category and two seats under OBC category were kept vacant. Challenging the action of respondent, the petitioner has filed this writ application.

4. On the other hand, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Punjab National Bank contended that a representation may be filed by the petitioner before the Bank authorities who shall consider and pass appropriate and reasoned order.

5. Taking into consideration the fact that no representation was made by the petitioner before the Bank authorities, this Court directs the petitioner to file appropriate representation before the respondents/Bank authorities who shall consider his representation and pass appropriate order within a period of four weeks from the date of filing of the representation.

6. With the aforesaid observation, this writ petition stands disposed of.
