Learned counsel for the petitioners is permitted to remove defect(s), as pointed out by the office, if any, within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Lalganj P.S. Case No. 149/2020, registered for the offences under Sections 302 and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is mother-in-law of the deceased who has been residing with her younger son in Chennai for the last four years and there is no specific allegation against her in the F.I.R. and other co-accused persons namely Dimple Devi and Nawal Ray, carrying same nature of allegation, have been granted anticipatory bail by this court and the husband of the deceased has also been granted regular bail by this

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.61710 of 2021(2) dt.08-06-2022 2/2 Court vide order passed in Criminal Misc. No. 1098 of 2022. Further submission is that any demand of dowry or torture has not been specifically attributed against this petitioner. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposes the prayer of bail.

Having considered the above submissions and mainly the fact that the main accused who is stated to be the husband of the deceased and other co-accused persons carrying similar nature of allegation are on bail as submitted, let the petitioner above named, in the event of her arrest/surrender within four weeks from today in the court below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M.-IX, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Lalganj P.S. Case No. 149/2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
