2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Lakhisarai Cyber P.S. Case No. 08 of 2025, instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 318(4), 319(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, read with Sections 66(c), 66(D) and 84(c) of I.T. Act.

3. The prosecution case, in short, is that an unknown person has made a call to Hon'ble Judge with an intention to swindle by personating himself as Block Agriculture Consultant, Halsi.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.54925 of 2025(2) dt.19-08-2025 2/2 present case. Charge-sheet has been submitted in this case. Learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that no any amount has been swindled by the petitioner. The petitioner has wrongly dialled the number of Hon'ble Justice and started casual talk which went wrong. It is further submitted that the petitioner has got no intention to swindle or cheat. The petitioner is in custody since 21.02.2025 and has got one criminal antecedent.

5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and taking into account the period of custody undergone by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court below/concerned Court in connection with Lakhisarai Cyber P.S. Case No. 08 of 2025.
