Taking into consideration that there is specific allegation of assault against both petitioners, I am not inclined to grant them the privilege of anticipatory bail and accordingly, their prayer for anticipatory bail in connection with Amdabad P.S. case no. 146/2014 pending in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar stands rejected.

However, this order shall not cause any prejudice to the concerned court at the time of consideration of regular bail application of the petitioners.
