The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Singhia Police Station Case No. 114 of 2017 registered for offence punishable under section 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is husband of deceased. He was married with deceased in the year 2012. As per allegation he used to torture and assault the deceased since the date of marriage as the demand of further dowry was not fulfilled. The death of deceased occurred in unnatural way in the house of this petitioner. The doctor has found blood on face of deceased. He further found two bruises around neck, 2" x 3/4 " below chin, 5" long x 3/4 wide from right angle of mandible on front of neck (transverse) upper
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.37564 of 2018 (3) dt.24-07-2018 2/2 part. He has further reported about braise 14" x 6" wide on upper part of chest & shoulders and cause of death is reported due to compression of chest and strangulation using a cloth like substance.
Considering the specific allegation of torture and committing murder of deceased by this petitioner who is husband. I am not inclined to grant him bail. His bail prayer stands rejected. (Sanjay Kumar, J) Mahesh/- U T
