JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 02-07-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Mainatand P.S. Case No.06 of 2018 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 325, 307 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Considering the allegation that the petitioner assaulted the informant with Bhala and the injury report annexed as Annexure-3 to the instant application corroborates that the informant sustained injury caused by sharp cutting substance, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, his prayer for grant of anticipatory bail is rejected.

However, in case the petitioner surrenders and seeks

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.35798 of 2018 (2) dt.02-07-2018 2/2 bail, the same shall be considered on its own merits without being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
