The present petition has been filed for grant of regular bail on behalf of the petitioner in connection with Patory P.S. Case No. 117 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under Sections Sections 15, 22, 25 and 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act The allegation is regarding recovery of 12 kgs. of Ganja from the possession of the petitioner, when he was apprehended by the Police.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and in any case the quantity of Ganja recovered from the petitioner is much less than the commercial quantity prescribed in the Schedule to the N.D.P.S. Act, 1985. It is further submitted that the

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the present case, this Court deems it fit and proper to grant regular bail to the petitioner, above named, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Samastipur in connection with Patory P.S. Case No. 117 of 2019.
