The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Akbarpur P.S. Case No. 487 of 2021 instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

111 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from the motorcycle which was being driven by the petitioner.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60606 of 2021(2) dt.23-05-2022 2/2 The petitioner is in custody since 03.08.2021. The petitioner, it is noticed, was made accused in a case of similar nature in the past but in the aforesaid case, he is on bail.

Considering the facts afore-stated, namely, the period of custody of the petitioner and the nature of accusation against him, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Addl. District and Sessions Judge-Cum-Special Judge, Nawada in connection with Akbarpur P.S. Case No. 487 of 2021.

The application stands allowed.
