The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Mahkar P.S. Case No. 5 of 2015 dated 31.10.2015 instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 324 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

During the course of construction over a plot of land, the petitioner is said to have fired at the informant leading to injuries on his thigh.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there is a counter version of the occurrence as well and the injury suffered by the informant is opined to be simple in nature. One of the persons from the side of the petitioner also has received

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39930 of 2018(2) dt.10-07-2018 2/2 injuries in the occurrence. The petitioner as well as the informant are next door neighbours and there is a preexisting land dispute. The petitioner is in custody since 27.03.2018. For the aforestated facts, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya in connection with Mahkar P.S.
