The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Amas P.S. Case No. 220 of 2021 (CIS 1515/2021) dated 22.08.2021 instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The petitioner is being prosecuted in this case because of recovery of 190 litres of toddy from the hut in which he resides. However, taking into account the fact that he is in custody since 23.08.2021 and has been made accused in one more case but not for similar nature of offence in which he has been released on bail, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60609 of 2021(2) dt.26-05-2022 2/2 on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge- IInd-cumSpecial Judge of Excise Act, Gaya in connection with Amas P.S. Case No. 220 of 2021 (CIS 1515/2021).
