JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 31-08-2023 At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to make correction in the date of lodging of the F.I.R. in the main petition from '14.05.2023' to '04.03.2023'.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the State.

4. Petitioners apprehend arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 504, 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

5. As per prosecution case, there is direct allegation against these petitioners that they along with other accused

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56624 of 2023(2) dt.31-08-2023 2/2 persons committed torture and harassment to the informant for dowry. From perusal of the impugned order it appears that petitioner No. 1 has confessed that he has assaulted the informant.
