Thereafter, he decided to file writ application in the year 2008. One of the facts which has emerged is that even as of now petitioner is almost 48 years of age. Death happened 11 years ago. The object and purpose for providing compassionate appointment is not to give an opening to unemployed or unemployable children of a deceased government employee. The idea is to provide minimum succor to the family in distress due to loss of bread earner. In the given facts and circumstances, the objects are not achieved. Therefore, writ application is dismissed.
