1. Heard Mr. Jitendra Kumar Bharti, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Abhay Kumar Roy, learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Laukahi P. S. Case No. 57 of 2025, dated 24.03.2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 317(4) and 317(5) of the B.N.S.

3. The main submissions advanced by the petitioner's counsel are that the petitioner has been arrested on the allegation of keeping a stolen motorcycle in his possession. It is submitted that the said allegation is completely false and that, according to the prosecution story, the petitioner has been falsely implicated by the police. It is further submitted that the petitioner is a student having fair and clean antecedent, has been languishing

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50364 of 2025(2) dt.11-08-2025 2/2 in jail since 24.03.2025 and the investigation against him has been completed.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the bail prayer of the petitioner.

5. Considering the aforesaid submissions advanced by the petitioner's counsel and mainly the petitioner's fair and clean antecedent, his custody period and the completion of investigation against him, this court is inclined to release him on bail. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be enlarged on bail in connection with Laukahi P. S. Case No. 57 of 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned.
