JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 09-07-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and State. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Excise Case No. 267 of 2018 for the offence under Section 30(a)(b) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. The petitioner is in custody since 09.06.2018. He further submits that in the case, the petitioner was found in intoxicated condition and empty bottle of liquor was seized.

Considering the fact that the petitioner was arrested on the allegation of consumption of liquor and he has remained in custody for one month, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/-

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39460 of 2018 (2) dt.09-07-2018 2/2 (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District and Sessions JudgeVIII- Cum- Special Judge (Excise), East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Excise Case No. 267 of 2018.
