The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 461/379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that admittedly the name of the petitioner is not in the First Information Report, but subsequently on the basis of the confessional statement made by the co-accused Abhishekh, the name of the petitioner has been brought into the present case.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and his name has surfaced in the confessional statement made by the co-accused which has no evidentiary value, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest / surrender within a
