JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 13-09-2019 Perused the show cause containing the order dated 05.09.2019 issued by the Principal Secretary, Panchayati Raj Department, Government of Bihar. It appears that the meeting of the Siksha Samiti was fixed on 09.09.2019, there is a direction to issue minutes of the meeting and there is a further finding in paragraph 9 of the order that prima-facie the then District Education Officer, Sri Suresh Chaudhary has not performed his responsibilities. For this reason the information

Patna High Court MJC No.2790 of 2019(3) dt.13-09-2019 2/2 has been sent to the Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Education, Government of Bihar to call for an explanation from the said Sri Suresh Chaudhary and to take action in accordance with law. The present District Education Officer, who is the Secretary of the Siksha Samiti, has been directed to perform his responsibilities effectively.

In the aforesaid view of the matter, the contempt proceeding is dropped.
