Petitioner is in custody in connection with Special Case No. 5598 of 2019 arising out of Alamganj P.S. Case No. 450 of 2019 for the offence under section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act,2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that in the instant case total 40 liters of country made liquor was recovered from the motorcycle of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 25.6.2019. Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47811 of 2019(2) dt.01-08-2019 2/2 let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge Excise Act, Patna, in connection with Special Case No. 5598 of 2019 arising out of Alamganj P.S. Case No. 450 of 2019.
