The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Complaint Case No. 877 of 2012 registered for the offence punishable under Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The complainant alleged that he settled the marriage of his daughter with Rajiv Ranjan the brother-in-law of petitioner no. 5, but Rajiv Ranjan was demanding money and the negotiation of marriage was broken due to demand of additional dowry. It is submitted that other accused persons including the bridegroom Rajiv Ranjan have already been enlarged on anticipatory bail vide orders passed in Cr. Misc. No. 49797 of 2015 and in Cr. Misc. No. 49506 of 2015 and the case of the petitioner stands on similar footing as no specific allegation has

However, learned counsel for the complainant vehemently opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner but learned counsel for the complainant did not show any specific allegation against the petitioner in the entire complaint petition.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in Complaint Case No. 877 of 2012, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
